To the Floralis Genérica metallic flower. The reflective metal flower was inaugurated on the 13rd April 2002, created by the Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano. Quoting his words and the inspiration: the flower is a synthesis of all the flowers and is both a hope that is reborn every day to open.

The 23 mts tall flower had a speciality, an internal engine opened the petals each day at 8am, then based on the season at sunset closed them. At this moment the phenomena can't be enjoyed because the mechanism broke, and although the Lockheed Martin Aircraft Argentina who created the parts gave a 25 years warranty, the company was nationalized in 2009, thus the reparation still awaits itself. The newborn blossoming can be expected in the March of 2015.
