After returning, a silver medal: 317km distance.
Had a light strolling through Hortobágy, then Tiszafüred - Szolnok - Monor route got back to Budapest.
The quickest wisdoms of the current trip:
- truth is, after two days altogether 817km, I felt less tired than any of the previous and shorter Hungarian Cardinal Points Tours(c).
- riding the highway is boring: I admit, after Budapest - Nyíregyháza I was thinking that it would be much more fun to push the bike on feet than roll an inch forward
- average worthy logistics of two-days tours: the first day you get to the farthest point + you do the about halfway getting back. Then the second day will be lighter.
- addendum: the first half of the trip ought to be highway. If you plan such to the second day, to get back - boredom shall kill all the magic of the whole ride; returning back, choose lesser priority roads
Reflecting to 508 kilometers. I consider myself a sufficiently creative person - but I don't plan any longer daily rides in Hungary. Soon, a short sum of the four cardinal points shall forecome.
